RPGdot has some info on this soon (± a week) to be released patch:
(
http://www.rpgdot.com/index.php#12874)
personally I don't care about minimaps... I'd rather have the possibility to make notes on the map...
The patch also fixes some bugs and it optimizes the saving and loading.

Digi has a screenshot showing the mini map in his post on the patch on (

Hmmm.... I was hoping there would be a fix for the nVidia 40.xx problem.

Nvidia thing is fixed, note that it was a problem on Nvidia's side though...

Huh, when did that happen? I had to downgrade to 30.xx drivers to make the game work.

I think a minimap is a great idea, stumbling through the caves around the underground lake would've been a few dozen times more enjoyable if I didn't have my nose in the book half the time. Of course, now I know them inside and out, so there's no point, but hey, good for the new users.

Now, what would make me even more happy is to have this patch 1.15 as soon as possible. ;)

Some issues:
-Player's body is getting halfway stuck in the first elevator (the one that needs rope to work). You have to jump and move so that it won't happen, and even that works like every tenth try. This probably happens because elevator nudges a few times while going up.
-Automapping should cover a bigger area, so you wouldn't have to hug the walls to get a clear map.
-Magically lighting a torch is different from the demo. There's an added flashing before the torch actually ignites, which makes the subtle effect in the demo much less cool.
