Has anybody noticed inconsistencies in the game that ought to be ironed out?
Me, I've noticed that I can light a torch in my inventory by equipping it. If I want to light one on the wall, I have to use the Ignite spell. This is just plain weird.
But, despite the pretty grim physics, and the odd bug, I loved the demo. Nice one, Arkane Studios!!

That's an appreciated feature if you ask me....I, for one, don't intend to use magic at all.
Unless you mean something like: use flint on torch or something...But that's just unnesscessary and would get real old real fast.

True....they could, however, make it so that you have to have a "flint" or whatever (I suggest a cigarette lighter - just kidding) in your inventory in order to light it. But such an item would probably take up a trivial amount of space anyway.

I think it would be wise to allow us to stack torches. They don't last very long, so it will likely be wise to carry a cunch at a time. Is there going to be a way to make torches? That would be nice, but I didn't really find any loose wood in the demo.

Ya, for a game that takes place underground (mostly, anyways, I'm assuming), those torches last a ridiculously short amount of time. They last what, 3 minutes? I'm not certain how long they'd last in real life, but I'd guess at least 30 minutes. I mean, how fun is the game going to be if you can't see anything? Hopefully they've thought this all through =).

you can stack torches, as long as you didn't light them already once. (At least I could)
Did anybody find any way to refill the empty bottles?

to use items, you double click them, but to use a fishing pole, you have to right click it.

you DO can light a torch on the wall one by one ... by using the one in your inventory : use it (or press T), then left click on the torch icon, then light the torch on the wall, a fireplace... (strange you couldn't use it on the fireplace near the goblin lord, or you couldn't cook a fish with a torch...)
too bad you couldn't know in realtime the durability of your torch (without get it back to your inventory)

All I've been able to fill empty bottles with is
herbal powders made with the pestle and mortar. However, I've heard that that's as far as you can go towards making potions without a distillery, of which there isn't one in the demo :(
Originally posted by sacredginmill to use items, you double click them, but to use a fishing pole, you have to right click it. As far as I experienced :
- to use an item, you right click on it;
- to combine/use an item with another you double-click on it then on the target item.
This is OK for me. I don't think this has to be changed.
