Can anyone tell me where to find rope to fix the elevator? I have been running around in circles looking for it. The only rope I have found is in the room with the big spider, but I cannot click on it to activate.
Help, please?

It's in one of the barrels - not the one hanging from the ceiling.

There is another rope. Actually, you don't have to visit the evil spiders. Take the stones on the pressure plate near the elevator until there is none left. A secret door should open. (Perhaps you have to put another stone onto the other pressure plate.)

Actually, I did manage to find the rope, once I tried click on the barrels. All and all I think it is pretty good. Granted, some of the controls can a bit cumbersome, but it's not all that bad. I just can't believe how often this guy needs to eat! :D

Ok, so here is the next stupid question, how does one get the blasted password to go through the door in the bar? I keep asking Tizzy, but she says she won't give it to me until I am initiated.

[spoiler]As for escaping your cell, what you have to do is go towards the gate opposite the one that you were standing at when you were talking to the bald guy. There is a rock you can move, and then some bars that will also move apart when you click on them. ;)[/spoiler]
