Hi,
I have just startet playing Arx for the first time. Until now, it is nice, but i have the following problem with sound, especially with speech:
Sometimes, speech will be replaced simply by noise. That way important parts of the spoken text are not understandable. It is always the same part of the text that is non-understandable. I searched on the forums, but could not find any thread about a problem like that. Any ideas? Am I the only one who has this problem? I do have a strange onboard soundcard by the way (Analog Devices SoundMAX on my Asus Mainboard).
Thanks a lot!

*Grrr* I hate posting a question on a forum and finding the solution 2 minutes later. Anyway, since this seems to not have been discussed on the forum before, maybe it is useful to someone if I post my solution:
I just went to the windows device manager, and used the "update driver" feature (or however it is called in the english windows version). i allowed windows to use the online driver search.
Windows then found a driver (i am not sure if online or included) that was made and certified by Microsoft. After installing that driver everything is fine.
