What´s your opinion about Arx Fatalis? I played the demo and I´m very impressed. I want to buy it, but I need know some opinions before buy it...

Seriously, the game is actually pretty fun. Though I thought the game could've been more difficult in places and the enviroments could've been a bit more expansive I still found it to be really enjoyable. If you've played any of the Ultima Underworld games (which I haven't) then you'll probably have a blast with it since it's susposedly the spiritual successor of that series.

Beyond that, well, I suspect that if you liked the demo then you'll like the full game.

Just for a little balance, I thought it was a boring dungeon roamer which gave me no incentive to keep playing - and I didn't. And I think you should have kept this on the Gen Gaming forum - he's right, he'll just get fanbois giving a complete and utterly one-sided view without any attempt at impartiality whatsoever on the Arx board.
What good is that to him. Even Morrowind sounds good if you go and listen in on that forum. :laff: :laff: :laff:

No, actually, it's not. Everyone on this forum has an unbiased opinion, as they don't have any external pressure on them to like the game. They like the game because they thought it was an great game. Simple. As a group, the position is biased, that's true ... but no-one's individual opinion is biased here.
Acting like people's opinion's are biased because they like a game you don't like, is stupid.
I loved Arx Fatalis, btw. Best atmosphere I've ever seen by a mile, and mostly solid gameplay. The story wasn't brilliant, and it's too easy to break (although there are always alternative's ... but they aren't very good compensation), and overall the game felt too small ... but even with those flaws, it's still a great game.
I think the demo is quite a good indication of the final game. If you didn't like it, I wouldn't buy it. If you did, then go for it!
Also, Morrowind is a very popular game. Plenty of people love it. I got sick of it, personally, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a greatly recommended game that a lot of people love.
