Just to let ya know...there is a very in depth hidden side quest involving the Trolls, and it ends up leading to the death of all the Goblins. (and nice chunk of xp as well)
After you return the idol, you remember AS asking why the Trolls just dont sell their own Gems...and he replies that they arnt smart enough and dont know the Business end. There is a book in the game that might help them poor trolls out ;)
