Arx Fatalis (German) has gone gold

Hello TTLGers,
Arx German has gone gold today, and the CDs are now in duplication.
It is a great day for us, and we're looking forward to holding the first box in our hands.
This version is german only and will be out by the end of the month in Germany only. It is also reduced in violent content compare to the international version which will follow shortly.
Also, the final version of the french, english and german demos will be released soon.

great news. I really am looking forward to this. Is there any way to undo the content changes, regarding violence etc? I'd rather play a non censored game if possible :).

YES !!!! great !

it's a really good new ! thus we will get a chance to have a complete international version, good also for Arkane 'cause Arx could be sell immediately (fresh ca$h !), it will not, in the german version, be authorized only for 18+, so press coverage, adds etc will be possible, and germans who are more patient could still play Arx uncutted :p after a reasonable delay (and otherwise they could have never heard about Arx...) (there's not a too short interval between the 2 release, and it make sense to this prior version ; it also avoid a release in august :) )
moreover, it let Jowood prepare the worldwide release, after the experience of a smaller scale distribution...

thus the german version will become a collector ! (it make the first boxes harder to get by the rest of the world :p)

hum... what about 2 (or more) different boxes ?

is Arx schedule to reach asians coasts ?

My new Graca arrived yesterday, can't wait to get it and Arx tomorrow, this will probably cause a sharp drop in my productivy for a couple of days...
