I don't want to post this on SA.com, since it's not 'official' news, but I hear that at the moment Arx Fatalis is at JoWood for final Q.A. and testing. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the JoWooD testers approach the game with the same love and passion that the Arkane developers have. :)

how long should this "final Q.A. and testing" take?
the Adrenalin Vault posted a (
http://www.avault.com/previews/index.asp?index=release)
new list of release dates.
It states that Arx is to be released in September...:(
though I do prefer a bugfree game, I was hoping to play Arx during summer recess...
Because at AV they apparently do not know about the JoWood deal, I was hoping that this September stuff is just a wild guess...
Anyone got other info?

Hello Guys,
Indeed the game will be released in September but this time it's for sure!:)
Hope you will enjoy it, lot of (good) changes since the demo.

September? :-(
We should rename it to "Arx Daikatanis"
Nobody is going to play it in September anymore....*sigh* It will be outdated when it comes out....
Note:
The post above just shows my frustration with the delays. (Actually, the September date is only for the international version or so I heard). I want to apologize to raf and all guys/gals at Arkane if this sounded too negative. I should quit posting, since I am obviously only insulting the people that need all their energy to bring us Arx.
Best wishes,
Tels

Any date for a new demo (bugless) ?
julien@arkane on 7/6/2002 at 11:57
We will release a new demo in september, so you can see all the changes we've made since the old buggy one..

My wristwatch will make 20,000 polys/s in September ;)
(Look at Matrox's displacement mapping for Parhelia - this is gonna rock ;o)

Not to mention its 10-bit gigacolour either.

Wouldn't it be better to make a demo at an earlier time?
