In my case, I'm getting no respawn at all. Once I kill the mercs and the bandits (when they do appear) the place stays quite deserted, and no more enemies seem to appear while I remain in the area.

I entered a few times after cleaning bodies (4 - 5 times in total) and around 5 bandits and 4 mercs respawn every time. Often a few of the bandits get killed in an anomaly.
Thanks to these few trips I now have over 800 NATO rounds for the assault rifles.
And nearly 50 medkits 100 bandages.
I'm standing on solid ground. :p

Keep searching their bodies, you'll get tons of stashes. I've gotten about 4 grenade launcher from the garage stash :)

Of course that the enemies will respawn once you leave the area, but what I mean is that once you kill them, usually they won't respawn while you remain in the area. And even when you leave an then return, you already know where the enemies will be, and how many they are.

Yeah, they seem to remain dead while I'm there.
Wouldn't it be more logical if the respawning info was saved between levels? So if you come back quickly enough they still haven't respawned, and won't until you are a certain distance away.

A lot of them stopped respawning for me. No more blood suckers (though I've seen one poltergeist), no more enemies at the construction site and none past it.
Just the mercs by the bar entrence and occaisionally some bandits.

I met that poltergeist too, I suddenly saw a barrel start flying and I thought 'What the...?'. Though I only met him once, he seems to not be in the area anymore the last time I went there.

I never actually met a Poltergeist there, but was surprised to see a dead one inside the garage. I guess the anomalies got him.

As I was strolling thru the flame tunnel for the nth time,I was tossing bolts, watching the pretty fires.I threw a bolt at a droplet and it triggered a fire anomaly,at exactly the same moment a fireball bloomed right in front of me.I have never felt more immersed in a game.:)
I swear this game is haunted.:erm:

I'm gonna go bolt-throwing and artifact-hunting once night arrives, I've killed all the bad guys, have a whole 500 g left of my 60 kg max, so I'm ready. :p
