I won't if I was you, unless I have spare Moonlights. Equipping 2 Moonlights allow you to run around forever under 50kg encumbrance. IIRC 3 Moonlights allow for considerable running with 60kg encumbrance.
I have one artifact that allows me to run almost forever with 50 kgs and below, though I still don't get all that far with 50.1+ kgs. I think it's called Flash, gives me +133% endurance.
D'Arcy on 27/4/2007 at 12:52
Flash will only give you +73 Endurance (it's a value, not a percentage). The artifact which will increase your Endurance the most is the Moonlight, which gives +109.
Aren't you somehow confusing it with the Slime artifact, which reduces bleeding in 133%?

I checked just now and it is indeed 73, not 133.
Yeah, must have confused it with Slime. :erm:
Flash is a lifesaver nevertheless.

The Wild Territory is probably one of the quietest places in the game, and a place where I normally feel at ease. Usually the only enemies you find are those mercs at the top of the building (sometimes two or three more show up near the passage to the Bar) and four bandits that like to camp behind a train, near the electric anomalies. And there seems to be little or no respawning after you kill them. Plus, the stashes there are usually very interesting. For instance, it's where you can find a SEVA suit relatively early in the game, or a grenade launcher that will fit the IL 86 rifle.
The thing that annoys me the most is that there are two stashes there that I'm just unable to find. One is near the tower, and the place where bandits usually camp during the night, and the other is near the building where the mercs are, next to a collapsed tunnel that has an upside down car on top of the debris. I've searched high and low when the map shows that I'm on top of the stashes, but never actually found them.
Eventually the baddies on the top of the construction started spawning on the ground, and then stopped all together for me (on my second playthrough).
I'm not sure about the first stash you're talking about, but here's how to find the second stash (took me a while too): go to the highest end of the ramp (facing towards the car). Stay against the left wall, and walk forwards. You'll be able to crouch under in the whole and you'll find the pipe inside, straight ahead.

There are plenty of stashes that confuse me, like the one in the village you start the game in.
Anyways, I think I'm gonna go for some artifact collecting in the Wild Territory to prepare my quest to the brain scorcher.

I'm just now hitting up Wild Territory here on my 2nd playthru; and it was night going in and I found 3 moonlights and one flash in those spots where they spawn! Of course, with moonlights, the flash isn't needed; but now I can take that "find a Flash" quest from the bartender. :)
Also, I've done enough bartender quests that he now offers me only two: "find the Flash", and "kill Sparrow. I don't like that second one because it makes you enemies with Duty. :( I tried cancelling that 2nd one at the bartender; but it doesn't cause another one to appear as a replacement - at least not yet; so instead I'll just avoid it for now and see what happens when I complete the Flash quest. :)
Still need to climb into that bldg for the sweet SEVA suit. Using a Stalker suit atm.
Also, on this go-round, when I got notified about the save/escort Kruglov quest (whatever his exact name is); he was already dead! I'm not going to go back to an old save - instead I'll see how things play out with him out of the picture so early.

On my first game I escorted Kruglov through the Wild Territory unti we reached the passage to Yantar. After talking to him, I turned away to go, and meanwhile a zombie stalker appeared there and killed him. The mission was already accomplished, so I didn't care. But when I went to Yantar, then instead of Kruglov there was some other guy there whom I had to escort in the quest to take the measurements outside.

D'Arcy, Wild Territory is not a quiet place when I went there few moments ago. I had to take out at least 12 bad guys, and that is not counting all the dogs.
But I earned myself many (useless) artifacts and plenty of NATO rounds and health. :D
I also gave the guy on the bar his family rifle back.

I don't know how many times did you went there already, or which missions you performed there. But After a while it gets rather quiet.
If you went for the family rifle, I hope you also brought along the two good pistols you find near it: the Big Ben and the Black Kite. Even if you're not going to use them (the Big Ben uses rifle ammo, which isn't easy to come by), at least they're worth good money.

Wait, you mean respawning will slow down the more you kill the respawns?
But yes, I found those two guns. I got good cash for them too, over 2000 RUs. I already have 160 thousand total so it doesn't make much of a difference. :p
