Tel Fyr can be found by walking straight SW from Sadrith Mora docks, basically.
It's not that far, past two small islands on your path or so.

Well, real easy way to get a pretty complete set of Orcish, right off the go.
Go to Vivec,
Get the Quest where a chick is killing all the Ordinators in the Sewers,
Go down to the F. Q. sewers,
Kill the Bitc#,
Go in the door right near where she's at,
Kill the Orc Warrior? and Mage?,
Get new threads, pretty rocking hat too.

Don't wear Glass unless you have an itch to throw down every time you talk to an Ordinator.
That is,
Even though you can get a full suit by robbing Ghostgate...
Chance's are, the only reason you could do that was because you were a damn fine Mage, or an even better thief...
and they'll mop the floor with your punk a$$.
Then again, its just about the best light you can find...

Ordinators take it personally when you where Indolite, not glass. Incidently my first time through the game I became kill on sight with the Ordinators from just talking to one with a helm on. For the rest of the game even after I stopped wearing it I had to kill every Ordinator I came across. It was actually convientent later in the game because I never had to stock pile loot. I could just go to Vivec and clear the FQ for 10k+. I completed the main story just fine.

Oh yeah almost forgot to answer the question.
The only way to complete a suit of Daedric legitamtely in the game is to rob Divayth Fyr. he has the only Daedric arms and chestplate accessable through normal gameplay. But as those before me pointed out he is necessary for the main storyline..
Other than that there are a few places I have found the other daedric pieces..
*spoiler*
Legs: Dren plantation top level just stand on the opposite side of the pillar so Orven cant see you, cast telekinesis and grab.. You can get these at lvl 1. Also In the HQ of the Quarra Vampires the smithy sells a pair.
Boots: Only pair of these I have found is in the HQ of the "B' (sneaky) vampire clan. The smithy again sells them. On both these pieces you can kill the smithy and take them as well..
Gauntlets: Kogoruhn, both are in the very bottom together.
Helm: There are actually 2 types of helm.. the higher armor one is in the Daedric ruins just east of Sadrith Mora.. you have to go in a nearby cave to get in cause the entrance is blocked by rocks.. (also a decen 1 hand blunt in there.)
The other type of Helm is in a cave between the Quarra clan HQ and the Urshilaku camp. IMO this one has a better graphic
Shield: One is on a ledge you have to levetate to in the Quarra HQ and another is in the cave mentioned directly above. Tower shields are able to spawn on Golden Saints after you get higher in level.
As for ebony about the easiest way I know to get a full suit early is to go to the Daedric ruins just SW of Khuul..in the bottom theres a man wearing all but the helm, however he's not super easy.. I killed him at level 6 but I had one handed blunt from the ruins with the daedric helm near Sadrith Mora. Basically if you can kill a Daemora Lord .. at all .. then you should be able to wax him for a full suit minus the helm (which makes your head look tiny anyow, but if you still want one try Sarano Tomb near Pelagiad.)

I was just in there. I found a helm of wounding, didn't have much ac, found a chest on an upper ledge, found chest with hammer (nice) but no daedric helm...? Did I miss something? I really tried to fly around and pick the place apart...

Can anyone give me any tips on where to find glass armour?
I've heard there is some pieces (helmet, cuirass, greaves, and boots) locked in a lv 75 chest in the cellar of the fighters guild in Ald-ruhn?
Is this true? (I haven't the skill (yet) or magic to open a lock that good.)
There must be more pieces dotted around the island!
Thanks

Daedric helms: There are 3... not 2. Face of God, Inspiration, and Fear. The face of fear is inside the daedric forge on a ledge... I didn't notice it the first time I went in there, went back after I read this post.
Glass Armor: The guild master there will give you the key to his room and the chest if you advance to guardian status and do some things for him. If your high enough rank in house redoran, there's a merchant in tower of dawn that will sell you some. If your not, in tower of dusk lower level, there is a merchant who will also sell some glass armor. Another option is to go through the main quest. Looting dead adventurer's and hero's I was able to get about 5 full sets of glass, as well as some other types.

Thanks, yes, i eventually found a scroll to open the lv80 door (it opened locks 60-80 not level 100 locks :( ) in the warrior guild in Ald-ruhn which allowed me to lay my hands on a glass helmet, cuirass, greaves, and boots :) .
Not a full set of glass armour but i'm satisfied (i'm only level 5 afterall).
You all probably know this already but you can get into redoran vault in vivec by stealing the key from...
...a chest of draws in the top room of the biggest manor in the redoran plaza.
The vault contains the following -
Dwarven axe and mace
Glass dagger, axe, shield and greaves
Ebony mace, short sword, greaves, helm and cuirass
A magic medium armour cuirass and helm
Dwemer right pauldron
Lots of gold
Numerous level 90 chests and boxes (which i can't get into :( )
Quick question
I use the Dai-katana all the time because i have a kind of samurai/ninja custom character and it seems (to me) a bit of a leap to make from steel to deadric so i was wondering whether you can get an ebony or glass Dai-katana?.
I don't use the Claymore but if you can't get a glass or ebony Dai-katana i might be forced to - am i right to assume this comes in the glass or ebony variety?
Thanks
Kilana on 20/6/2002 at 01:02
There are only steel and daedric daikatanas... glass and ebony only have longswords and claymores.
