To make things even tougher, I haven't been blinking all over the place, just occasionally when it's really necessary, and I haven't been using dark vision at all.

I finally made it back to the pub after the triapse through the Flooded District.
This game is really amazing -- I'm sucked into it for hours on end and I'm not even sure I'm anywhere near the end yet. The Half-Life 2 visual influence is very obvious, particularly in the lighting style.
The Outsider is kind of creeping me out a little, though. And that heart... I think I know whose heart it is. D:

Just expend 6 hours on the first mission, and I got ONE KILL! :mad: And I had no idea whom did I kill! :confused:
Now I have to restart the mission ... ARGH!
I managed to get "Ghost" & "Spectre" so I am probably still on tract for "Shadow". I also spent runes on nothing except upgrading Blink so "Mostly Flesh & Steel" should still be in the running ... but I had to ruin it all with ONE KILL!

Same here. A few throwaway lines she gives here and there kinda give it away, though the game never tells you specifically.

If you knock someone out and fail to lay their unconscious body somewhere safe, you run the risk of a swarm of rats coming out to devour their flesh. For some reason, when this happens the game registers the event as a kill. Also, it seems that if you drop a body down the stairs or any modest height that they will also die. The best thing to do is either place an unconscious guard in a dumpster or on an elevated surface like a bed or table. Also, be sure to look at their body and see if the unconscious tag comes up or just listen for their heavy snoring to ensure that they are still alive.

The heart is fucking creepy. The shit it tells you if you point it at people.....I just stopped using it cause half of what it said made me want to kill the suckers on the spot.
