Dishonored must be pretty good. It won 3 categories at the recent Gamescon :
Best of Gamescom - Dishonored
Best Console Game PS3 - Dishonored
Best Console Game Xbox 360 - Dishonored
:D
Edit: missed the third award.

PC GAMING IS DEAD I wonder if it's ported to pc or the other way - which version will be best?
And yes there was this award :
Best PC Game - SimCity
So that could be the answer :(

No.
Wha?
Quote:
Minimum specs are the least you need for an
optimal gaming experience at the loss of some graphical fidelity (i.e. lower overall resolution, no AA, no texture filtering, no ambient occlusion, etc). Could you make the game
run at 640x480 with no textures, shaders, or lighting on less powerful hardware? Sure. But nobody in their right mind would consider that
playable.
When I said supported option I mean readily available in the games' option menus - supported by the game and the design decisions therein, not the minimum the hardware *could* do. Perhaps I wasn't 100% clear about that.
Which means we agree. Probably on everything ever. Hray \o/ Group hug!!!

Arkane has a history of doing PC first but in this case all versions has the same release date.
They do differ between the PC and the console versions of Dishonored so while the Xbox version might have been ported to PS3, the PC version has its own UI dev team.
I'll quote Wikipedia:
"The game supports a separate interface for Microsoft Windows users compared to console versions and the use of Xbox 360 controllers for PC. Smith described the team philosophy of allowing those passionate about a particular release platform to develop towards it, so those passionate about PC work on the interface, while Xbox 360 fans are allowed to develop the Achievements for that platform."
The logical way of doing it and judging from the quote i'd say that a version for Xbox was developed first then ported to PS3. Then the Xbox version was handed to an interface dev team to adapt it for PC.
Xbox and PC are basically the same platforms so there's no porting, just the matter of redesigning controls and (Hopefully) extending the PC version to be more configurable and allowing higher settings.

I like what I'm seeing and hearing here...Let's just hope there is sufficient depth of story and gameplay to compliment the fine visual design.

I hear the fish possession is very immersive.
