I didn't realize that Looking Glass's entire game catalog consisted of Thief. Or are you telling me you ghosted the Ultima Underworld and System Shock games?
Admittedly I bombed the hell out of the low-poly landscape when playing Flight Unlimited. :rolleyes:
Plus, I thought I had written down that I was worried
by the first trailer and didn't associate this and Dark Messiah (which I have played several times, but it's basically a physics demo with cutscenes) with something as elaborate and impressive (just to name two things that could make LGS games special) as Thief. But I was probably too cryptic, apologies.

SUP vegemite miners, ~22 min E3 walkthrough. The first part is FOCUSED ON NON-LETHAL STEALTH. The second part is probably "the Rambo approach" for the Xbox fratboys.

So where is the lethal stealth version, for me? :colbert:

Stealthy version:
-why didn't the guy in the steam room run and open the door? I wish you had to bar the door first to try that approach.
-the part at the end where he jumps from the tower and posesses the NPC before hitting the ground is fantastic. :D
Rambo:
-looks incredibly satisfying to play (xbox fatboy 4 life! :cool:)
-also looks harder than the stealth approach. Though once you master the melee blocking and countering and switching between the various skills quickly you'd feel like some kind of a steampunk superhero.

(
http://www.bethblog.com/2012/07/13/a-look-at-dishonoreds-many-ui-options/#more-19346) Arkane guys clearly want to show that they care about a PC version of Dishonored.
On UI you can enable/disable/modify options such as:
* Health / Mana Gauges
* Objective Popups
* Tutorial Notifications
* Interactions
* Focus Highlight
* Pickup Log
* Contextual Icons
* Player Stance
* Objective Markers
* Grenade Markers
* Awarness Markers
* Heart Markers
* Crosshair Style
* Crosshair Movement
* Crosshair Opacity
Some of the other options include:
* The FOV slider for changing your field of view.
* Controller and mouse sensitivity options, as well as four different options related to auto aim strength and aim assist.
* The mouse smoothing/acceleration slider and enable/disable options. (PC only).
* Graphics options for the full spectrum of monitor resolutions, anti-aliasing, and various other graphical toggles. (PC only).
Finally, PC version gets a classic shortcut bar for powers and gadgets.

So... can you turn off the crosshair completely or not?
Vicarious on 14/7/2012 at 11:45
Well, there's no crosshair in the second comparison shot, where they've disabled UI components.

Sweet. Also, in the linked screenshot of game options, did I see a possibility of disabling the kill-cam? How will Arkane get away with this?
