Yeah I liked this interview. It was especially great to hear Harvey Smith so obviously excited about the game he's making. I've got my fingers crossed for this one.

If it ends up like the game they want to make, I will enjoy it.

This sounded like just another game that I was mostly "meh" about (and slightly annoyed that a lot of the media has given Arkane Studios sole responsibility for the creation of every previous game on their employees' resumes, just to hype this one up), but the RPS thing got me legitimately excited.
Although I kind of doubt it'll end up as awesome as they suggest. It could even be that way right now, but a decade of watching publishers force developers at the last minute to yank out the meat of their games so that it can appeal to a larger base has destroyed my ability to be optimistic.

I just realized but - does anyone else thing the game looks like Bioshock/BS2/BS:Infinite? I cant quite put my finger on it but... It's something about the shaders and the human proportions that reeaally remind me of BS.

Yeah. I remain pessimistic until proven otherwise - and who knows, I just might be.

Well, there doesn't seem to be a single original idea in there, but it still sounds like the kinda game I'd enjoy. #backhandedcomplimentsftw

It does?
Obviously it does to anyone who is one of the last 4 remaining members of TTLG, but is there anything there else that'll get anyone else saving up their pocket money or even slightly interested?
It'd be a shame to make an excellent thing and then fail it via marketing.
