Hey guys. I have two questions about a character I am planning to make. He is an Argonian who blends magic and combat (if you didn't guess by the title of this post). His two main stats will be Endurance and Intelligence, and he is Spear-wielding (hence the Endurance focus). My first question is, heavy or medium armor? Argonians get a +5 bonus to medium, but that is negligible and I can ignore it for the time being. Heavy obviously affords the most protection, but is that worth the loss of speed and carrying capacity? Any opinions either way are welcome. My second question is, should I choose combat or magic when I creat my character? Combat will increase my proficiency with my spear and armor (as well as my rather formiable Athletics w/ the +15 racial bonus), but magic will make my Conguration, Enchant, and Illusion (racial bonus again) skills much more effective. Any thoughts? Sorry for the length of this post, but I would appreciate any reply, as I am looking for some longevity in this character. Thanks.

I heard that mdium armour sucks, because the best light amour is better than the best medium armour, and weigh less. But don't take my words for it.
