Not getting a reference != thick - let's all settle down.

I didn't really mean that as an insult. Let's just replace it with "slow". Or maybe that's still an insult... Let's just say I didn't get my point across successfully.

Young Han Solo has been cast, and it's none other thaaaaaan...
Alden Ehrenreich!
WHO?, you say. This guy was in the latest Coen brothers movie where he played (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2J31Shudtk) Cowboy actor Hobie Doyle. I loved him in that, he might've been my favourite part of the whole movie actually, tho of course it's a quite different part from Han Solo. Anyway, I have faith in this guy, looking forward to seeing what he does with the Solo role. :)

At the time Harrison Ford was picked he was largely known for cowboy roles too, so it's not such a crazy connection. Granted they're still quite different roles.

ROGUE ONE IS OUT
AND HAS BEEN SEEN
BY MINE EYEBALLS
And perhaps yours too, so lets talk about it. I liked it! I thought it tied into the original trilogy in more satisfying ways that Force Awakens did. Especially that ending. Oh my god. So good. With Vader! And the Rebels barely getting the plans out. I mean, we all know they get the plans out, but it was still thrilling. The part where Jedha blows up was spectacular as well. CGI Tarkin was pretty distracting. I liked Chirrut and his relationship with the force being much more faith-based and realistic(as in, how religious belief works in real life) compared to what we've seen in other movies. In every other Star Wars movie it's like "no shit the force is real, that guy just made stuff hover WITH HIS MIND!", but Chirrut hasn't seen any of that stuff, he just believes that the force will save him. But what really saves him is his buddy Baze. OR IS IT JUST THE FORCE THAT WORKETH THROUGH BAZE? Baze doesn't believe any of that shit, but they are still great friends. Such an interesting dynamic. If Disney wants to do an anthology film following the travels of Chirrut and Baze before this movie, I am onboard. Overall, this is just a solid sci-fi movie that also happens to be part of the larger Star Wars story. 8/10!

Such interesting characters and they all died in the end! :(

Which ones were the interesting ones?

If there is only one Jedi left - and I presume this our lil sunshine Rey - then there is only one way to secure the universe. The biggest unanswered question is: Will that dashing pilot Po Demorol or the handsome Storm Trooper Finn ishing? Or Kylo Gram pa was the best?! Oh Daisy Daisy, give me your answer do!

Sadly, the plural of Jedi is Jedi, so could be any number of last Jedi, really.
