So.. who's seen it? Can we start a spoiler filled thread yet with warnings all over the title for those who haven't seen it? I just got back from the IMAX.

Here's a Redlettermedia video that Jason Moyer hasn't posted yet!

(I didn't watch it before seeing the movie coz I thought there might be spoilers but there aren't really, and it's very funny SO HERE)

Well, I see LF is working hard on it's quota of female leads before the Boba Fett and Han Solo origin movies come out in the next couple of years.
I like what i see so far here. It'll be interesting to have a completely self-inclusive SW movie that doesn't depend on a sequel for once. And amazing, a SW trailer without lightsabers. Who would have thought. Not sure what's up with the ninja/samurai guy, that seems a bit out of place in the SW universe. The rest looks good though.
As an aside, it appears the new LF has the money making machine in full gear. The same week the old movie is released on DVD (and I'm guessing out of the theaters), we get the trailer for the next movie. Get used to that routine for the next 5-10 years.

That's just Hollywood trying to seduce the Chinese market. See every blockbuster over the last five years.

Another film for insecure man-babies to boycott in their hundreds :)

On the contrary...The insecurity lies within certain women and feminized men, who erroneously conclude there is a social injustice occurring, and therefore a need to right an imagined wrong...It is inherently nature which produces a preponderance of males in leadership roles, as a survival strategy for the greater good of humankind.

Why would women and "feminised men" have any issue with a female lead in a film?
Your last sentence has a citation sorely needed.

Samurai are pretty much part of the
Star Wars DNA, what with Lucas paying homage to Kurosawa left, right and centre, even wanting Toshiro Mifune to play Obi-Wan Kenobi originally. Jedi, being the warrior monks that they are, are very much inspired by samurai.
