Potentially evil critter that I am, I was wondering.. If you cast silence on someone and then murder them.. can they still call out and alert the guards?
It would make sense if they couldn't... and make murdering far more fun..
I'm coming for you.... :ebil:
(Has anyone ever tested this?)

Silence doesn't stop them from screaming, it stops them from casting spells. :p
Edit: Spelling

Well it should - else it's just "noise" from morrowind re-packaged. Is there anyone who can mod it to be proper silence, maybe by making it reduce the distance people's voices carry to zero, or something?

It is, but I've not had too much trouble with psychic guards. I'd just like a way to make silence just that. Not that I'm too worried if there isn't a way - it just seems like it'd fit nicely with the DB.

In Shadowbane casting silence on someone would prevent them from being able to type to others.

Hm, the guard mod isn't there anymore.
Guess I'll have to go looking. Psionic guards piss me off. I killed a man, alone, in a basement. It was a sneak attack, with a dagger poisoned with paralyze and silence. No guards came.
Yet, when outside, a guard arrested me for assault. WTF? Miss Cleo turned me in or something? And why didn't she mention the murder that came right afterwards?
