Are The Pop-up Banners Back?

i was just browsing the forums and twice a "the simms" banner came up. i had a couple of other websites open at the same time so i'm not 100% exactly sure it was TTLG. i'll post again later if i'm sure it's ttlg.

If you move your mouse over the circle thing when the popup comes up, it will 'activate' it.

I'm kind of curious.. Who on earth gives TTLG these popups?

The second Wild ARMs 2 popup broke my IE, forcing me to reinstall... This "Sims Livin' Large Expansion" looks like it will, too. I've gotten a lot of fatal errors with it. I thought it was just me, but some others have complained about the same thing.

FGN gives us the popups to put up -- we are pretty much required to do so. It's weird that these popups give you fatal errors on your system, as they are simple java applets. Might wanna reformat anyway.

it's just a pop up window, you get them all loads of sites

Yeah, you get lots of popups on other sites.. Though, it seems only TTLG's popups have some kind of hatred towards me.
