Hi. I'm new to the editing scene, but had a question. Sorry if it's newbish.
The missions on the xbox were restricted with load zones because of the memory limit, right? Can we make missions without load zones now?

There are still a few restrictions on size though, you can't have very huge open spaces with masses of objects in as the engine won't handle it brilliantly, but narrower paths and smaller lines of sight should allow you to build quite large levels (if you have ever climbed to the top of the tall building next to the market stall in the city on T3 and looked out you will notice that alot of the level disappears as the engine can't handle viewing the whole area easily. Its also down to your Graphics card, the level of detail and the object types you use.

Nice, that's good to know. I downloaded Komag's tut so I'll be spending plenty of time tryin' to learn the ropes.

New blood. Excellent. Komag's tut is pretty good too. It should set you on the path nicely.

I second that.. I've been at my new mission for just over a month and although I have mapped for the quake and doom3 engine a TON with radiant I have to say a huge thanks to Komag for an amazing and well written editorial how to thingy. It got me on the right track fast and In no time I was flying around the interface creating great looking archtecture. Thanks a ton Komag and all the other TTLG regulars for keeping this all going.
now back to T3ED for me.... :thumb:
