They look more like unholy blacksmiths, but well, why not? :p I think the TDS haunt sounds are quite good enough already (and custom sound schemas too difficult to implement). Maybe a fancy attachment (some chain around the neck that could look like a former hammer...?) and a wand replacement (or none at all) and voilà... should work then.

Cool! Make it crusty crimson, and it's almost an apparition of an angry MasterForger. Oooo. Is there a welding mask around?
Are there any unused hand waving motions and small hammers that could be tweaked as conjured projectiles?:p

I was getting kind of bored making new AIs and giving them the Haunt voice tag, that's why I wanted to use the Apparition voices from T1. Just for variation. Mass figured out how to add Mechanist voices so maybe it's not that hard?
It would also be cool to finish what Ion Storm started with the Apparition. Making it semi-transparent might be tricky though.
I have already made another one with a rusty red skin, jt. It is a zombie skin within T3Ed but not used in-game. It has orange skin and a rusty red/brown outfit. I could alter the colours in Photoshop though.
I hadn't thought of animations. I will look into it but I don't know anything about that sort of thing.

AFAIK Massimiliano hasn't fully working Mechanists. First, there are not enough TDP/TMA voice files for the standard voice sets in TDS (including being blinded or being lead to a scene of crime, although that could work with zombie/apparation sounds), second, re-compiling the schema files results until now in missing lip movements without anyone finding out why, and third it'd be quite a lot of extra MB. I'll gladly offer you polished sounds from TDP/TMA (that's Child of Karras' home turf), but I doubt they'll get into the game so easily.
What about the Cradle staff sounds? They include voice-like things already.

There were no files for being blinded by flashbombs? I rarely use them so I don't recall.

Hurray it worked:D. I had to make a new class under Cradle Staff Male as the one I made as a child of HammerHaunt kept reverting to the haunt voice tag and character type :weird:.
Thanks for the suggestion. I was getting tired of making all my new AIs a variation on the haunts.
Now I wonder how I can make it transparent....

Render --> Transparency
