*shake* It's a bug... they should charge you 1/2 your bounty, but there's one or two who don't check if you have enough before they wipe your bounty.

You could always become a vampire. That's nicely evil :devil:
EvolGrinZ on 15/11/2002 at 08:19
How can you become a vampire????
Anarkos on 15/11/2002 at 09:09
Get bitten by one ;)
The (
http://www.m0use.net/~uesp) UESP has detailed information on vampirism in Morrowind I believe.

You're really supposed to be a hero... the closest they wrote to allow you to be evil is helping the slavers.
What do you mean? Since when is liberating slaves evil?
It might be against the laes or against custom, but it is good, objectively seen.
@Venroth
You can plaz as evil easilz, but you just have to say good-bye to most of the quests.
And that doesn't mean the developers did a bad job on the open-endedness business;
I think it was done very good. After all , if you run around killing people or stealing stuff and the like, most people won't want anything to do with you.
Just join the tHieves Guild, the Morag Tong and your set. Just remeber, even the bad boys have rules...
And as was said above, you can become a vampire... Archetype of unholiness and evil

Archetype of unholiness and evil Yeah, but it's a little silly that if you kill some lone person in the middle of nowhere, your crime 'gets reported' and everyone in the whole country form paupers to the elite suddenly know about it. They could have had a rule of 'no witnesses, no crime', or decreased your notority to the area local to the crime. You only have to look at the massive amount of mods that tweak, change and fix various aspects to see there were a lot of flaws in this game.
The developers
did do a bad job in this area IMO. There should have been a whole other set of evil quests for evil people, given by evil people, and not just a few either, I mean an equal amount, so you get as much to do as playing a saint - otherwise you don't have any true choice. The thieves guild and morag tong weren't particularly evil.
I'm allergic to garlic in real life, so becoming a vampire is out of the question)

Pestilence: *nod* Yup, thanks.

I want you to try an experiment for me. Go to the kitchen. Grab a knife. Go outside, apply knife to passerby. Wait. Don't! Forget I said that...but, think, if you did, would many people want to hire you? Not just a thief oir assasin but a crazed serial killer?

The thing Id like to see in a free roam (or any game) would be a realistic information flow. News wouldnt get around lighting speed but fast in town/etc and slow on countryside, in something like Morrowind this would give nice possibilities for a selfish bastard players :p
