The original arm is fine, it's the new sword I need.
I guess I'll just spill what it is that I need.
I need a black sword that was forged from a meteorite. It should shimmer and look as though it is perpetually reflecting stars in its surface.

I may be able to take a crack at it. Do you want the arm to be the same or is it for a different character? I'm not sure if I could use materials on arm models since they are a mesh model.

It's for a different character, but the Garrett arm is fine. Otherwise I'd have to change the arm for the other weapons as well.

Gort, it would probably be sufficient just to get a cool shiny black blade with some designs on it, and R_T can add some particle effects to it for the reflecting stars, rather than trying to do it with a material.

@ Random_Taffer
I see. OK, I'll keep that way then. How big do you want the sword to be?
@ Yandros
Hmmm... I'll see what I can do.
Random_Taffer on 6/5/2016 at 12:33
Maybe a little larger than the vanilla sword. The original wielder was a very large man and it's his knight's broadsword. I suppose 1.25-1.5 times larger than the original.

Hey, that's awesome.
Perhaps I should have been more clear. While I appreciate the time it probably took you to make all the little yellow designs, the sword is just black/dark grey. The man who forged it was simply a big strong warrior, not an artist that would chisel designs into it at all.
Thanks for doing this, btw!

I see. No worries. I can just change the texture for that. Is the sword's shape good?
Random_Taffer on 9/5/2016 at 15:31
Yeah man, the shape is great. Maybe a bit more simple/crude of a crossbar and hilt. Other than that, it looks great.
