Hi everyone,
I'm thinking about using a (
https://serverorbit.com/pc-and-servers/proliant-ml350/dual-core-2-0ghz-xeon) ProLiant ML350 with a Dual Core 2.0GHz Xeon processor to set up a dedicated gaming server. I want to host a few multiplayer games and ensure smooth performance for all players.
Has anyone here tried using a ProLiant ML350 for this purpose? How does it perform in terms of stability and handling multiple connections? Any advice on setup, configuration, or potential upgrades would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

That's seriously ancient. The power supply and hard drive are probably ticking time bombs. You could probably get a minimalist Linux install going on it and serve up some 90s games like Quake, but I don't think it would be worth your time.
