I had a horrific event happen to my PC yesterday and I lost my progress playing through SS2 again :(
I was at Command 2
Dealing with someone else's spec and items is preferable to starting over :) Maybe.
What does System Shock 2 save it's game files as? What's the extension? I'm using a recovery program and I may be able to track it down.

Thanks. They aren't .sav files? I was searching around a bit ago and a thread seemed to imply that. I already did a *.mis search on my drive that got pwned, and restored those... but you're saying I need folder structure, .mis, and this campaign file? What type of file is the CAMPAIGN file?

Even if you don't want the save anymore, please check mine :) You can rename folder to save_7, 8 or 9 if you already have save_3
