I have Thief 2 installed with Newdark, and the steam controller overlay comes up fine. I can set the steam controller stick to the wasd keys but it just doesn't feel right with the 2 movement speed keys, creep, and run.
Has anyone managed to get the analog stick working properly in game, I've tried the ini edits to add in rudderturn/mouselook, and joystick is enabled in game. The steam controller should be outputting an x-input joystick but Thief just doesn't like it :p

I don't use use manual way. Instead I loaded a community profile in the overlay screen and altered myself. This works fine for me and also I can use gyro aiming. :cool:

Yes, I've already established that the SC works with Thief, I am asking specifically about the analog stick functionality.
Thief has full analog joystick support as I said, and I'd like to be able to utilize it if possible.
I can use an Xbox One controller with my Thief install just fine, analog stick works great, but it won't detect an xinput analog stick from the Steam controller for some reason. I can map the SC analog stick to WASD keys for movement, but not Joystick/Xinput mode.
