I've had the flu for four days now and I hate it. I don't get sick often, but when I do, I get it bad. I've already thrown up (I'm inexperienced at throwing up. I managed to get it in my eyes and nose. I even found food in my nose.)
My fever has been on a lovely little roller coaster. Sometimes it even goes down to around normal. It's peaked at 103.5 so far. My parents took me to the hospital just incase it wasn't the flu. I got stabbed with three needles, my chest was x-rayed, and I had two inches of wire go up my nostrils for the search of flu. All tests came back negative.
... Damn.
I think I'm 'on the road to recovery.' Temp is around 101 now, but I just took some Motrin. When I woke up, I swear it was 98.6. Oh yeah, one of my veins grew HUGE when I got an IV of saline. It exploded or something. Very very freaky ;)
So, sufferers unite! Who else has the flu? Or just got over it? I can put my snot in an envelope if anyone wants it.

Just got over it. What an unpleasant ordeal! All you can do is lie there & moan in agony. You have my deepest sympathies, RB. :(

Hah! I am immune to the flu because I have a dead one floating around in my veins! Or something like that. Actually, if I did get the flu, it would floor me for a good while, so I'm lucky. I pity you all.
