Like I'm going to start a new thread :joke:
Because T3Ed is already using 100% cpu (none when it's not in focus) then build-all on a map might overtax the system. So I intentionally bring focus to another window until cpu use goes down then I hit the build-all button. So far I have no freezes on a build-all. Previously I had freezes on every other build.

I doubt that makes any sense - T3ed always seems to be using 100%, and you can't really "overtax" a system. I've had trouble if I switch tasks during a build - this is going to take CPU time away from the build process. You might overheat the CPU, but not everyone will have a cooling problem.
Occasionally you get a pause on "Cleaning up..." but you just have to wait for it.

I switch tasks
before a build until cpu use goes down. I rarely switch during a build. My computer freezes up when T3Ed starts applying structural brushes when it first starts building. I only had one freeze since I started changing tasks. I don't know why the computer freezes less and I don't care if it doesn't make sense as long as it works.

No problem. I was just suggesting some other factors. If we've learned anything it's that practically everyone's computer behaves differently.

I have a 9800 pro and I'm getting the severe lockup (reboot needed) which is a huge pain  , but what about X800 cards ?. Are they have the same problems when editing with T3Ed ?.
I was mapping with the older version of UnrealEd, the one used for Deus Ex, which was OK. I imported the map into T3Ed, but when I went to apply texures to the walls, it would lock up. I will try Flesh Rendering though.
