Apparently you didnt notice I was trying to not be a blatent ass. Also, 'not getting' is almost exactly what it is which isnt an insult even though it sounds like it. Its like 'not getting' what is so funny about it, doesnt mean you are stupid.
Humor is subjective, so it isnt funny or not funny, you either get it or you dont.

Don't get me wrong, I like the show - I feel it has more to offer than just laughs. The finale was particularly great.

It may well be a temporary condition in the story. Fry had his head grafted onto Amy's shoulder once you know. It's a silly cartoon.
