Hey-a.
Couple years ago I posted shots of my test project, under my artist alias Jukka Kevät.
Some of these renders can now be seen on my DeviantArt gallery.
(

The project was to practice texturing skills and try how plausible it would be to make the high res versions.
So anyway, earlier this year I did another test of putting the level geometry into modern game engine.
You can download this test here: (
http://studiohorisen.com/SSRM/SSRM_test_2.zip)
Should run on all Win XP machines, others cannot be guaranteed.
As it's winter again and I feel like continuing the project, I'm asking if there's anybody with the will and skill to concept draw the props and stuff in the first two rooms?
The original sprites are too small and unclear, and I'm not happy with my first versions of the models.
The healing bed you see in my devart has hope, but others are sub par.
So if you or anybody you know could help me out to design the rest of the stuff in high res, please contact me by posting here.
I'm not making any claims of recreating the entire game, but this is a fun hobby to practice every now and then.

Sorry I cannot see your system shock renders somehow? Some of your other gallery stuff looks quite nice though :)

Glad you're back, I was impressed a lot by your work when you first showed it. Still am!
Totally trying out the .zip as soon as I can.
As for drawing, though I do some vector stuff I doubt I would be any help. Good luck!

Can't draw worth crap, but your stuff on DeviantArt looks great! For better pictures of the enemies, take a look at the (

Thanks, those drawings give some extra info.
The book itself will be really handy when I someday get to implement weapons and enemies.

Looks great, it definitely makes me want to grab a pipe and bludgeon some bots. Nice texture updates.

How come i'm the only one that can't see it then?

Awesome. Now if only someone could do the rest of the game.

Wow that's really nice, it's great how you've created an atmosphere with the lighting yet still kept true to the very distinctive design of that area - well done :)
Do you know why it wouldn't show in your gallery? Some of the stuff worked but the "subsections" (like system shock) didn't.
