Not sure if this was posted anywhere in the thread. Seems Kevin Costner is helping with the clean up with his centrifuge devices deployed. This is really quite interesting, he's been working on these devices since the early 90's with his brother a scientist and others.
Read about it here.

If that actually does something, from the looks of it, all systems are a go. Basically it works like a giant shop vac, that separates the oil and water. More power to him, and the company he works with, Ocean Therapies. This is going to be a big part of the clean up, better than anything they have so far.

Shockingly bad taste. But I laughed.

Maybe the oil leak isn't one of the worries. Some scientists claim that BP actually drilled into a huge metane bubble. The issue is, there are a lot more metane bubbles buried beneat the sea bottom there - and if one ruptures violently, it might set off a chain reaction. If that happens, everyone living near Mexico Bay will have to learn swimming real quick...
Well, so say some guys who appear to know what they are talking about.

Oh yeah. I just hovered over your link to get a groan out of myself. Are they fucking kidding me! Take them all, burn them in that oil.
