Obama is taking criticism of the way he's handling the oil spill. I know, it's primarily BP's responsibility, but Obama isn't making things easier by not accepting help from other countries until recently and not suspending the so-called Jones Act. Some say he's handling this in a worse way than Bush handled Katrina.
(
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/business/steffy/7043272.html) Here's an article to illustrate this.
The article deals with a Dutch company, this is not meant as DUTCH PRYD YEAH but this was the first thing I found on the subject.

It's fully BP responsibility, any blame laying or criticism should be leveled squarly at them--not the president.
Unlike Katrina, this is a
man-made corporate-made disaster. The only blame and criticism that should be laid at any governmental doorstep should be aimed at the fuckers that screamed at the top of their lungs to loosen regulation and control of corporate activities and restrictions, because if we didn't the economy would collapse (thank you right-wing fuck ups).
And now, here's yet another in a long line of BP's bladder control problems: (
http://www.mlive.com/news/kalamazoo/index.ssf/2010/06/bp_gasoline_pipeline_near_cons.html) BP gasoline pipeline near Constantine spills 89,000 gallons
One would think after the really big pipeline leak a few years back that they'd check the damned pipes.

As previously noted I believe you find Dick Cheney at the top of that list.

I disagree. Of course it's BP's fault that the spill happened, but if the president cares about the environment, he should stop putting the economy first for once and not hinder the cleanup efforts by denying help from other countries for instance. Read the article I posted; with a disaster of this magnitude minimizing environmental damage should come first, economic motives like insisting that unexperienced US union workers build protective dikes (the building of which could have been underway by now if foreign help was accepted sooner) instead of foreign experts, should have no place here.

I don't watch Fox news or other American news stations, but yeah, I'll admit I didn't really do a lot of research so maybe I spoke too soon. But I still wonder why the foreign aid was denied until recently if it wasn't for the Jones Act.

I don't know that word. Is that when you're old and rich enough to discard all your friends and spent your time breeding in your newly bought condo instead?
Ex. 1:
"Alright pals, if you need me, I'll be acondomating!"

I think it's something to do with contraception.
