I was wondering if new content is being develop for SS2 anymore, I mean is there anyone out there who still builds mods for this game?
The last ones I noticed were Return to UNN and Ponterbee Station. I remember something vague about Christine making some kind of mod that had snow in the screenies but was it ever released?
In a way I think it's a shame that SS2 has seen such a low number of mods come out, compared to Thief series for example. I truly think it's one of the best engines for making horror based levels because SS2 has that RPG element in a FPS kind of game. Doom 3 for example I found incredibly boring :tsktsk:
And logs are such a great way to make a good/decent story...

You mean this? (

Christine's still working on it.

Yes, it's a work in progress.
She also released UNN Nightwalker not too long time ago. :)

Yes but I mean... that's it? Is Polaris kinda like the last nail in the coffin so to speak? Not to mention the last three released FM's are ALL done by the same person so I think SS2 FM's are sorta.. dying out :tsktsk:

I have no idea if Christine will work on something else after the current project has been released, but I hope she won't stop, since her missions are absolutely fantastic to play. :D

No that's just you.
Everyone knows there aren't many FMs for SS2. I fail to see how your kinda talk is going to help with this.
The fact that (

That is to make it easier for people to realize their own ideas instead of waiting for others to do it.

I don't know, what I will do after Polaris is finished. I think it's time to learn an editor for a newer engine, maybe I'll try to do something for Doom3.

I don't remember putting a water-balloon in my pants, but it just burst.

That would be a very good reason to remove the dust off my copy of Doom 3. :p
The Doom 3 engine does resemble the Dark engine somewhat. The CRF files have the very same functionality as the PK4 files of the D3 engine to name an example.

Lol.
Anyhow, it'd be very interesting to see any more mods from the Christine department :) I'll look forward to them.
