Do you know any free program that can record short movies. I tried FRAPS, but when I try do record TDS (or something in T3Ed) my framerate drops to 2-5 fps. It is even impossible to move a mouse...

FRAPS is pretty much the best there is, very efficient and low resource hogging, so if it's not doing it for you then you're pretty much out of luck. You might try different settings though.
The only other alternative would be to run your video out via S-Video from your graphics card to an actual VCR. Your resolution will be lower, and you'll have to route the video back into your PC later and capture it, do the whole video editing route, but it's doable and works.

Actually, I downloaded GameCam and it works lika a charm! It is much better than FRAPS. :)

Then I stand corrected! I'm happy to be wrong, it's always a good thing when something improved/better comes along :thumb:

I used Gamecam for a while. But I switched to fraps since the quality is much better and I can decide which codec I want to use.
