I've looked around at some of the mods produced for tarting up the game a bit, and it seems most of them are part of the movement to turn Skyrim into a fantasy themed party at the Playboy Mansion. However there is one (
http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2356) nice visual mod that makes face detail much better, and gets rid of those weird looking noses, apparently due to wonky normal maps.

I think it's caused a bit of a frame rate hit in some areas, but it seems the extra detail might be worth it. Not that I notice it most of the time, but I think switching back to the standard faces would look a bit crap now.
The other thing you get is feet that look like feet, not that I spend much time looking at feet particularly.

I'm surprised that some mods have been created to alter the game world with other versions of the CK, but I suspect these ones will be buggy, so I've steered clear until the official release allows the mods to be created with the correct build...

What about those 4 strange shadow enchantments when you break Linwe's Armor, Boots, Gauntlets, and Helmet?

I don't know SkyUI was done - I think it has something to do with with tweaking flash files, but it is certainly good work.

It's worth it just to filter the "misc" list, but much inventory pain has been relieved.
I was pleasantly surprised that the (
http://www.skyrimnexus.com/content/modmanager/) nexus mod manager works well, although it seems downloads can get stuck or go slowly.

I like how it lets you sort your inventory by value per kg, which really helps with those tough "what should I drop?" moments.

More like the "Why the hell didn't I unload some of this crap at my house before coming into this dungeon?" moments for me.

Why did you pick it up in the first place if you assume you can drop it.
I'm reluctant to move to SkyUI because firstly I'm not really bothered much by UI as it is, and secondly the icons/symbols seem... off.

I don't like making too frequent runs home to stuff things into chests (also, over-stuffing chests makes them a ball-ache to sift through later) so I often end up with too much stuff which is all good. In rare moments of wanting to be able to fast travel, I have to pick the worst of the best to drop. It hasn't harmed my enjoyment of the game.
