No
Arma yesterday, as we were a pretty small group, so we played some
Helldivers instead. Or rather,
Helldivers played us. It's a great little game when it works, but the netcode or the servers are glitchy as hell. Was there even a single mission which didn't have one of us dropping out for no good reason?
Anyway, as I'll be away for a few weeks, I wanted to announce the last
Arma session of the year. It's shortly before Christmas, but I'm hoping that some of you can make it. if you're around, don't forget to install and activate the CUP modset!

I just requested a refund for Helldivers.
About Dec 23rd, we'll see. I might have plans, that close to Christmas.

No prob. I could imagine that most people have plans then, but I can easily keep the slot open for myself.

Same here. I'd love to keep it, but I can't see them ever fixing it if they haven't so far.

... I got it for free so I can't get a refund. #bigfatfirstworldtears

You just have to let it go...

Well my refund was declined because it was over two week since I bought it. I think I'm going to contest that, as they an see from my account I only recently played it and that my overall play time is around 3 hours. But even so, that shouldn't matter. The game as it stands is broken.

You can only refund if you've played it under 2 hours and bought it within 2 weeks. Since you're over both limits I think you're outta luck.

Yeah, but i'm gonna retry anyhoo. The game's quite clearly broken.

I wonder if this is a recent issue; most of what I've found online suggests that the game's online component worked well after release. Makes me wonder if they cut down on whatever servers they're running 12-18 months after release. I've left them a Twitter message but haven't yet heard anything yet.
