Tomorrow may or may not work depending on when I get back home, but I'm okay to schedule it regardless. For sure not gonna be available before 17:30 GMT, tho'.

I'm usually back at home and settled by around 19:00 GMT.

Ok, 19:00 GMT, Thursday is doable for me! That's 22:00 here tho, so I'll probably just play for an hour or so before I fall asleep. :bored:

So Henke, Jesh an I initially started today's sesh trying Minecraft in VR. After some server set-up woes, we finally got in a game together, only to discover that the game's too nausea-inducing to enjoy. However, I do think it has massive potential for regular, 2D co-op shenanigans, and so shouldn't be ruled out of future slots.
After a 20 minute break to get our stomachs settled, we then tried Dead & Buried, which is hectic fun, albeit quite hard. That's got potential for when we want to let off steam I reckon, but it's obviously not designed with roomscale antics in mind, being akin to a VR Operation Wolf style shooting gallery.

Shame I missed the attempt at Minecraft in VR. It didn't make me nauseous when I played a bit of it, but it came closest due to its glidy movement. Have you already made any concrete plans for next Saturday? I'll be back from my Nordic holiday then. (Befitting the Minecraft theme, apparently Notch is from Stockholm, where I currently am.)

Yeah I'd definitely be up for more Minecraft. I believe it supports VR and non-VR players in the same session as well. That said, I'd probably stick to monitor next time we play it. Not the most nausea-inducing thing I've played, but I'm still feeling it in my gut a couple hours later.

As far as I know no concrete plans have been made, but we gotta play
Star Trek: Bridge Crew, right? RIGHT?
Also, here's something that might be an option in the future:

Vermintide, which you can pick up (
https://www.humblebundle.com/jumbo-bundle-9) for cheap in the current Humble Bundle, is a more melee-focused, fantasy L4D-alike. I see Jesh and Sulphur already have it. Guys, is it any good?
Jeshibu on 30/8/2017 at 17:31
We played it with just the two of us (and two bots). The bots are pretty bad with regards to positioning and strategic insight, so it made some missions really hard. There's some Killing Floor-esque grinding (though for loot instead of stats this time). Otherwise it's more surprising when it deviates from Left 4 Dead than when it sticks to the formula. The biggest deviation is the melee focus, really.
So uh, it's promising but hard to tell.

It's a decent time, I played as a fireball-chucking sorceress that's actually kinda cool because a decently charged fireball undoes a knot of skaven in most satisfying fashion. It's really the L4D template translated almost wholesale to Warhammer, so like with Doom and Heretic: different skins, similar souls. If you liked L4D, you might like this. I'm not gung-ho about it, but I'm not put off by it either.
