Ain't got no plans at the moment, so yup, I'm in.
Thirith on 1/8/2017 at 13:23
Yeah, I should be there as well.

Quick question to the coop crowd: I'd probably lean towards playing Arma every 2-3 weeks mainly because it's the one coop game we're currently playing that more than four people can join. I'm away on 26 August, which would be three weeks after the Arma session this coming Saturday. Could we tentatively pencil in 19 August for another Arma game, or is that too much militaristic manshootery?

This is just a reminder:

The next Arma 3 coop session is happening soon:
Date: Saturday, 19 August 2017
Time: 4-6pm UK timeAs always, I'll be online a bit before 4pm to set up the server and check who's on Steam. I'll try to launch the server with a lobby mission 15 minutes before the session starts, and I'll post the IP and password on the Steam group, under the Events tab.

Great coop session in VR with henke, Malf and Jeshibu. Rec Room is basically a Nintendo-style collection of mini-games, but it's great fun (and not a bad workout) with friends, and there are lots of lovingly done details. Disk golf is a giggle if most people aren't great at it, and doubly so in coop mode (where the floor is basically lava to the frisbee, so you need to position yourself to catch the more often than not erratically thrown thing), and the sci-fi quest is hectic fun - but my favourite was team charades, which was basically 3D pictionary.
Any rumours suggesting that 75% of our guesses were "penis" are vastly exaggerated...

Also worth pointing out how we reached the SHOCKING CONCLUSION of Satellite Reign.
But yes, charades was the most fun. :)
Jeshibu on 12/8/2017 at 23:06
In honor of said SHOCKING CONCLUSION, here's the gripping origin story of Ned.

Do you also have footage of his heroic demise? Not sure I could watch that again, though...
Jeshibu on 13/8/2017 at 13:39
Sadly, no. His tragic death happened amid such chaos that I didn't think to save it.

Sad... :(
Anyway, Malf has brought it up before, but I would definitely be up for some Minecraft VR coop at some point. I've not yet got into the game, but I think it'd be great to play with others, especially in VR. That is, if we've all got it *and* if the way it controls doesn't make everyone feel queasy.
