Looks like Ghost Recon Wildlands is doing an open beta from 23-27 February, which means that the coop session on 25 February would be perfect for some reactionary Latin America manshooting! Except, like Satellite Reign, GRW's coop is four-player only.
So here's a suggestion: would the TTLG coop crowd be okay with scheduling Ghost Recon Wildlands (beta) on Saturday, 25 February, which means that only four people get to play, but then a return to the potentially larger groups (like, five or six people!) on Saturday, 3 March, with Arma 2/Operation Arrowhead and/or GTA Online?

Dunno, from the RPS stuff I've been reading, it sounds a bit... dull.
Thirith on 17/2/2017 at 09:13
It also sounds like it's mostly dull in single player and when playing with randoms, and that it shines when playing with mates. I'm not insisting, though; happy to forgo it if no one else is interested.

Some bad weather coming up this weekend.
Make sure to pack your cyber umbrellas, neon raincoats, and miniguns.
Looks like we're in for some some...
SATELLITE REIGN
Usual time and place.
@ Thirith, I'm definitely up for some Wildlands Beta.

After henke had to drop out early and Satellite Reign had some technical issues (or it doesn't like Dutch people - either is possible), we switched to Left 4 Dead 2, which was good, bloody and slightly putrid-smelling fun. I'd forgotten just how bloody the game is, though!
Next week (25/2), we'll be trying out the Ghost Recon Wildlands beta (four players only, I'm afraid), but we'll return to Arma the week after (4/3), to accommodate more people. I'll be posting more information on the latter once the date's a bit closer.

Hey folks, sorry I had to drop out early, had people coming over, we hadn't established an exact time and it ended up being sooner than I figured.
Hyped for Wildlands. I guess we'll need uPlay for that? My username is LeeMajorz6k.
Thirith on 19/2/2017 at 15:44
Yup, I think it's via uPlay. I've just sent out a bunch of invitations (basically to all my Steam friends), which should include the usual suspects.
Hope you had a good evening, henke!
... while your mates were dying in the bullet hell of Satelite Reign...
:p

Yeah... That Ghost Recon Wildlands thing didn't quite work out. Looks like henke's NAT was too strict. We could get combinations of two or three of the regulars playing in the same instance at the same time, but not four. Shame, because it looks like the game could be good fun in coop.
So we played some more Left 4 Dead 2 instead, and man, that is one brutal game. We played in Normal and still got our asses handed to us in "The Passing". At times we were being pummeled by two Tanks, one Charger and one Jockey at the same time, and that's not even counting the regular horde. Still, good fun with a group of four people you can rely on (i.e. who don't mind too much that I have a nasty tendency of shooting people in the back by accident).
By the way, although I suggested earlier that we could get back to Arma on Saturday 3 March, I'm afraid I won't be around then. Will ask the regulars if they'd be okay with Arma at a later date.

Haven't played it in a while, but I was happy to rediscover how wonderfully hectic L4D2 is. :D

The latest (
https://www.humblebundle.com/arma-bundle) Humble Arma bundle looks interesting for Arma III (and Arma II if anyone hasn't got it): $15 is a very good deal to pick up all the games.
