Another TN-other LG game appearance. - by Drat

I tried British Open Championship Golf last night. Just for the hell of it, I watched the Flight Unlimited II preview video included with it. I had watched it before, but a few months ago, which was before I had played through Terra Nova (at least, I think it was).
Anyway, I watched parts of it again, and the music in the video (which I guess I hadn't taken much notice of before) was immediately recognizable as the music from the TN Random Scenario Generator. Neat.
BOCG was... interesting. Granted, I don't like Golf much, nor most sports games. Further play could change that though. Flight 1 and 2 certainly got me more interested in flight sims.

Somehow I never replied to this, but yes, I too found that rather entertaining when I heard it :) I felt compelled to include a footnote about it in the readme file for the all-in-one pre-patched BOCG CD I was putting together at the time.
Do you have the full version of BOCG (St Andrews as well as Royal Troon), btw? Or just the single-course version? If the latter, there ought to be an updated version available from the Classics site before too long. The aforementioned CD having languished on my desk for months, it is at long last winging/sailing its way to the appropriate LG Classics destination (or so we hope, at any rate).

It's the one course version. Good to hear that the full package will be available shortly.

Good, I'd like to play this golf game. If only to tear myself away from Everybody's Golf. :p
