1-My spells list is in a mess. Anyway to delete certain spells?
2-What lies beyond the ghostgate besides an ash and severe sandstorms?
3-Is custom class a good idea?
4-Weapons and armor with magical effects. Will they disappear when the magic has been used up?
5-Finally, someone please help me. I'm going crazy. I've restarted like... SIX times as soon as I reached Balmora (took the long route passing Pelegiad and Fort Mon... something)
I can't seem to get a character right. When I reach Balmora, I feel my character isn't that good or I don't feel right about it. See I'm looking for someone with good offensive magic. I normally choose conjuration, destruction and mysticsm (along with restoration). I don't bother with the rest as it seems troublesome (alchemy, echantment). I also want someone who is capable of putting up a good physical fight as well. nothing major but just "good". But I tend to screw things up halfway like buying too much spells and getting sore eyes from the mess of spells piling up one another.
Give me your recommendations of a battlemage like character. (no not couting the premade battlemage).

1- Either Shift + Left Click or Ctrl + Left click on the spell.
2- You'll find out if you either read books, do the main quest, or have a look.
3- It depends on how you want to play and if there isn't a pre-made class you like.
4- No. When they run out they slowly recharge. You can speed this up by dragging full soul gems on to the weapons.
5- Long Blade, Heavy Armour, Destruction and Restoration are the main ones you'll need for a great Battlemage. Block is another good skill. Fill the rest with whatever you think is good.

Oh I forgot to ask.
Which race is suitable for a battlemage?

Don't be too quick to discard a character, it takes a LONG time to train your guy into something playable. Until then he or she is the wimp that get his/her ass kicked by every snail you meet. So be patient.:)

3. Custom class is always a good idea. It gives you the freedom to tailor something to your particular style of gameplay, or try something totally and completely nuts. Even if you end up with a custom class that's almost exactly like one of the pre-made ones, take the time to generate a custom class every time.

I played my first Battle-Mage through as a Redguard. I ended up using more melee than magic though. If your wanting more magic, I recommend the High Elf with Apprentice. Make sure to keep up some resistances. If your wanting more fighting though Redguard or Nord.

Base 'em on the Crusader. Keep most of those skills, but replace Medium Armour and Hand-to-Hand with something more useful. Mysticism and Alteration maybe. Switch the speciasation to magic, maybe; combat type skills seem to go up faster by themselves anyway.
