Rumblers are always a problem for me because I can't see any signs that they are about to punch me. The bots however, are dealt with by standing right in front of them and whack them with the wrench constantly, while praying to god they won't fire at you; at least when you are dealing with the security bots.

I find all the range enemy don't like you getting close-run RIGHT up to them and they'll try to back up for a shot so just keep running into them.
Turrets of course, will just blast you.

I'm now on my way to rec deck, I've learned that those cyborg dudes throw those stars alot quicker than I remember, I expect once I get some more agility the easier it'll be to back'em into a corner and whack'em.
The big spiders suck, I got a couple of them with the wrench but suffered for it. Right now I'm using non-wrench weapons alot more than I'd like. Thanks again for the tips everyone.
Regards.

The assassins are a pain in the ass, fighting them with a melee weapon is not recommended at all, depending on the situation. If you can find a corner, try lure the assassin with noise, and then swing around the corner; you'll bash the bastard without him even trying to attack you.
