So, that's why bots are acting weird...

Thanks Straylight and everyone that contributed to the mod.
Seems unlikely that no one would have found this, so maybe my install is broken, but I was able to reproduce this strange bug in Sanger's office (ops). If I crouch behind her desk and then move around or look around (not sure how I move exactly but it doesn't take long), I will die...I think I go through the floor somehow? Things get jumbled and I can't see exactly what happens.
One other small nitpik I noticed, not technically wrong though. In the description for one of the worm implants (it's the one that requires research 5), the last paragraph begins with "however" but doesn't need to, and sounds especially awkward since the paragraph before also begins with "however".

Noted. Two instances of this odd bug were already eliminated from ADaoB by Nameless Voice. I'm sure this will be in the next release. However long that may take.

Huh, I just tried that, and yes, I can do this too. And while I remember, saw this in the general forum about least favorite logs:

My 2 least favorite logs are from Sanger. Just because she seems to get it right for the most part, but then puts a completely wrong emphasis on a word, or the tone of certain things she says just is so off-base with the rest of the log.
For example, the "Malone's dead" log, she starts off really well, but then she says "alright Connie get a grip, get a griiiiiip" as if she's running late to her hair appointment. That and when she says "mama mia" as if she was sampling a spicey-a-meat-a-ball. These are the only logs that really just take me out of the moment they create.
The bit in bold reminded me of something that's always puzzled me. She mentions Malone is dead, a cyborg (Midwife, even though there's only a maintance bot? >.> ) came up and wtfbbqpwnt him, okay fine.
There's a log of an OSA guy called Malone (Psionic Chimps!? logs) knocking around in the cargo bays, one on his body. Okay, fine.
Weird thing is, the 'first' where he discovers the monkeys are psionic is on his body-the second, where he researches more is deeper in the cargo bay. Surely the other way around?
Add to that, that
another engineering log (near the first laser rapier) by a seperate person (the old guy) that specifically says an OSA 'spook' called Malone got eviscerated by a hybrid and his shotgun and... eh.

And while I'm on a roll-why on earth is that midwife in the 'tunnel' in engineering?
Kolya on 19/9/2007 at 03:01
Correct, Malone dies a few times.

MALONE:
Killed by a cyborg, killed again by a shotgun hybrid and killed again when a resonator blows up on the Rickenbakker. Possibly he used the QBRMS, or was mistaken for his identical twin McKay.
Why shouldn't a midwife have been in Engineering? The situation you find when you play isn't necessarily the same like a few days ago.

Maybe she (it?) was scoping that area out for an Annelid Egg hive, it is pretty quiet down there. Although it does imply she got down there before the reactor went offline.

installed for the first time and like it so far.one small thing though, the readme states:
Quote:
>>> IF YOU HAVE THE FIRST RELEASE OF THE GAME
>>> AND HAVE APPLIED THE OFFICIAL PATCH,
then you will have some of your .crf files in a "patch" directory. The
patch directory overrides the res directory, and thus ignores all the
new strings. To convert your patched original game into a format
compatible with the pre-patched "Classics" release, simply open each
.crf in the patch directory and move its contents into the corresponding
.crf in the res directory, overwriting the old files. You may want to
make a backup of the original res/*.crf files first, just in case. When
you're done, either delete the patch directory, or rename it to
something else to keep it as a backup.
took me half an hour to figure out that I have to
open each
.crf in the patch directory with winrar and move its contents into the corresponding .crf in the res directory, overwriting the old files. this may be worth fixing,as most people are dumb and/or dont speak english well.yeah, count me in

Psi Hack: For the purposes of the Psi Hack you get a Hack skill and Cyb stat that are both equal to Psi/2.
This one's easy, when it's cast it says right in the HUD that you have Hack 4 and Cyb 4.
(I used a psi booster hypo to get up to Psi 10 for this one)
There's really no point in checking the rest, stats can't go above 8.
I am not sure in this, because it IS possible to hack level 6 crates via PSI skill. Check this: (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102838). I think I still have the save somewhere.
