Annoying crashes [any fixes?]

I keep getting annoying crashes, almost every half hour, so it slows my work and makes me angry! :mad:

Is I get the "T3ed is not responding"

Im using win xp if that is any help, is there anything that I can do to prevent these crashes? I got a crash when I added a player garret, and I get crashes sometimes when I click the add brush. Plz help :(

Don't drop a PlayerGarrett. Use a PlayerStart. I can't remember exactly where it is found... something like Marker>Keypoint>PlayerStart.

Yes, Radeon 9600 pro, using omega drivers, and its overclocked, I don't know what version my drivers are, but I think their out of date anyways, by one or perhaps two at most versions, but I doubt that would make a difference

The Radeon's probably what's causing it to freeze when you try to add brushes. (http://www.ttlg.com/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=ATIWorkarounds) Here is a few ways to avoid it. I use the fourth solution, personally.

I just had a really bad crash, it said that my video card was not responding properly, set my computer to a really low resolution and locked up :(
