If I'm not mistaken there hasn't been a single release so far. I hope this doesn't indicate the jam turns out to be a bust. :(

Has anyone checked on Skacky, personally? I'm kind of worried.

i am very excited to see anything come out as the themes are all very nice, excluding monster as its hard to do that right in thief compared to other themes listed

We're worried about skacky because...there aren't any entries for the SpeedJam? That's a little strange.
Hanging out in the Dromed Discord, it seems like several people had missions in the works for the speedjam, but they weren't able to finish them by the deadline. We still will hopefully see them at some point though.

No, that's not why. It was the 3 days of radio silence after the deadline regardless of submission(s) status. I hope people would notice if you are missing since 3 days after an expected communication.

If you read the initial posts for the last two speedjams, it states that this isn't a contest and that authors should just release their own missions whenever they are ready. So just like for the first speedjam, there's no big announcement for this one. It's just a causal event where authors work at their own speed and release whenever. I think two authors actually released missions a few weeks after the "deadline" last time around too.

The concern is appreciated but I'm doing fine, don't worry.
I didn't say anothing since there's nothing to announce unfortunately, I did not receive any anonymous entries and as Renault said, the people who took part in the Jam haven't finished their missions yet.
It's a little disappointing, the themes might've been a little too difficult maybe. In any case I'm not convinced this format is a failure yet. We'll see what happens in the future.

Would it be possible to have 2 pools of themes? First pool would be the lighter ones and second the heavier/difficult ones.
And, all the words from the pool are objects or places. Would you consider having some words which represent immaterial or situation?
skacky on 4/6/2025 at 18:12
I'm definitely open to experiment and have two pool of themes, for sure. A few of the words from this edition and the previous aren't places though, and I have plenty more non-place words in stock as well.
