Yeah, that sounds about right.
High heels, gyroscopically enhanced traction blah...whatever. I guess they where more like platform boots. I only remember that because when I used to draw the patlabors in school a friend commented saying "why is your robot thingy wearing high heels?"

Yep, it looks like the bottom of the foot is divided into a front and back section with a split about 3/4ths of the way back.
