Looks like everything between < and > is treated as HTML and stripped out. I've had the same problem in PMs.

It's not just stripping the contents out though. In my post above, it also turned everything after it bold.

It's not coming out bold on my screen. The 'Originally Posted By' bit is bold as usual, and everything else is normal text.
