Tafferific job, Fen
a couple of questions, I usually enlarge the readme font three or four times, but when I close angelloader and then reopen it, it doesn't stay that way or revert to the original size, instead I find the biggest possible font size.
I'm using version 1.04a but it happened with earlier ones too. windows 7 sp1 home edition
That's really odd. Can you do the following for me:
-Open AL and set the zoom to how you want it (ie,
not the maximum possible size)
-Close AL
-Go into your Data folder and open Config.ini, find the line "ReadmeZoomFactor=" (should be at the bottom) and tell me what the value is
-Open AL again
-Close it without doing anything, and then go into the Config.ini file again and tell me what the value is now

second thing, let's say I'm using angelloader and I download a new mission and put it in my Fms folder, is there a way to rescan/refresh the fms without closing and reopening the program? cause if I click "Scan all FMs" I don't see the new mission
Not currently, but I'll add it. As an obsessive "keep everything closed unless I'm using it right this minute" type person, I didn't consider that people might want to refresh while it's running, but it's super easy to add that.

Thanks fen I think I'm all set now. The auto detect did the trick.
Ramone there is a refresh button and I believe it should find the new mission.
hey Stingm, thought so too, but that's for filters only

ok, first value is 1.301 and the second is 5
repeated it and same values.

Okay, I had an idea of what the zoom problem might possibly be caused by, so I did some work and added more logging. I also added a "refresh from disk" button. (
http://fenphoenix.com/apps/AngelLoader/AngelLoader_v1.0.5.zip) v1.0.5
My idea is that the zoom value was being parsed in a culture-specific way, and was being read as "1,301" (one thousand three hundred and one) and then being capped to 5. It's always been written out correctly to always have the dot (1.301) but I had forgotten to explicitly read it in the same way. That's the only reason I can think of, because the code that actually sets the value is extremely simple and appears to be correct.

oh it was reading 1301 with a maximum possible of 5. well that's solved.
the refresh button works too and I'm gonna use that all the time. thanks!

What version are you using, and can I see your log file (AngelLoader_log.txt)?

this happened to me, it was solved when I created a folder called "FMs" in my Thief2\ directory
