AngelLoader v1.5.4 is awesome! And the Dark Mode that came in an earlier version is amazing. Perfect to have for my Thief I/II gaming nights :)

i have the following problem and i 'm not sure, if it is the right thread therefor
i've installed thief 3 deadly shadows . in angelloader i have determined the path of thief 3
there is the first question. there are two exe files. one is t3 exe the second is t3 main. which file must i choose.
the i put a fm in the back up bath
when i start the fm follwing message appears . one or more supported games are already running. please exit them first.
whats going wrong?
must a install something for thief 3? i have version 1.0
thief 1 +2 fm are running without any problems

1. Thief 3 needs the Sneaky Upgrade installed, otherwise it won't work with AngelLoader. Once you've installed the Sneaky Upgrade, there should be a Thief3.exe which is the file you need to choose.
2. The message "One or more supported games are already running" means what it says, it means one or more games that you've specified in the Paths section (Thief 1, Thief 2, Thief 3, or System Shock 2) are running and therefore AngelLoader is not going to let you do certain things that might interfere (like installing, playing an FM, etc.)
If you don't see any game running then maybe check the Task Manager.
3. The backup path is not for putting FMs in. If you were to uninstall an FM and you chose to backup saves/screenshots for example, there would be a zip file created in the backup folder that contains the backed up data for that FM (in this case the saves and screenshots). That data would be restored from there if you were to install the FM again. You want to put FMs (that is, .zip or .7z files) in one of the FM Archive Paths.

where can i get this upgrade?

Is it possible to select all the missions in the list. So that i can remove all the finished selections at once.
FenPhoenix on 9/1/2022 at 20:26
Unfortunately not at this time. I know this can be an annoying/tedious limitation, and I have it on my todo list to allow multiple selection. However, the implications of allowing it are more complicated than it might appear at first glance, so it's not in right now. Sorry :(

(https://github.com/FenPhoenix/AngelLoader/releases/download/v1.6.0/AngelLoader_v1.6.0.zip) AngelLoader v1.6.0 is out.
(https://github.com/FenPhoenix/AngelLoader/releases/tag/v1.6.0) Full changelogThis is a big release with
tons of fixes, polish, performance improvements, and one big new feature:
multiple FM selection!I hear you. I too found it annoying to right-click and choose "Finished on" individually for each FM one at time. Well, no more, because now you can do most everything in bulk: rating, finished state, installing and uninstalling, pinning and unpinning, etc. etc.
Other improvements include:
* FM archives (zip, 7z) can now be dragged onto the main window. They'll be copied to your FM archive folder and the list will be automatically refreshed.
* 7z files now have their readmes cached during their scan. This prevents having to process 7z files twice, once to scan and once to cache the readme. For large 7z files, this can save a lot of time.
* There is now an option to replace the "Play original game..." button with separate smaller buttons, one for each game, which only show if you have that game specified. This may make things tidier/quicker for some folks.
* AngelLoader.ico is now included as a separate file, in case you want to use it and you're unable to get it from the exe file (Steam for Linux for example).
* FM find-and-merge code is now linear rather than quadratic, meaning it can handle a lot bigger FM collections now while remaining fast.
* Fixed a dark mode visual glitch relating to hiding and showing tabs.
* Fixed a dark mode visual glitch where tooltips would have dark-on-dark text after opening and closing a non-themed (Windows built-in) dialog box.
* Fixed the author detection for Off To Milhorn Manor (2021).
*
Many, many more fixes and improvements!
